I have been homeschooling for 11 years.
My two oldest kids did not get the home school advantage, as I was unaware of the options and had relied on the public school system as the only choice. With the next three kids I ventured out, and two have moved on to college (Chapman University and Brigham Young University), with only one left at home, with four years of high school home school left to go.
I have learned that each of my kids is different, that some things work well with all of them and some things had to be changed. I have also learned that more help and more sources are now available to parents.
This blog is to share what has worked for us. I have home schooled from k-12 and am still learning and searching for new ideas. It is a journey worth taking, and worth sharing.
