Although I am never too anxious to have my teenagers driving, it seems to be part of growing up. But I must admit, I sometimes envy those stricter states (Arizona's driving age is 18) and stricter countries (Holland's driving age is 18 or 19).
We have started my son on Driver's Ed online. This is the necessary classroom study. The online Driver's Ed is easy to use -- first you do not have to drive your teen to some location for an all-day class or evening class. They will log onto their course at any time of day from your own home computer.
You still get to do behind the wheel training, which is of the utmost importance. I like to have our teens drive with us for a long time before they get their license to drive alone.
